Celebrate Smithsonian Museum Alive Day at the Vermont Marble Museum and Gift Shop on Saturday, September 26, 2015 from 9:00 am to 5:30 pm! Come and see our 2nd annual carved pumpkin display with over 150 pumpkins throughout the Museum.

There will be refreshments in the Museum's garden for purchase - hot dogs from West Street Market, pizza and wings from Franklins, and Ben & Jerry ice cream!

Take the train from Rutland Depot to the Vermont Marble Museum - departure times are: 8:30 am, 11:30 am, and 3:30 pm. Train ride costs just $10.00/adult and $3.00/child - tickets on sale the morning of September 26 beginning at 8am in front of the Rutland Depot. Last train departs back to Rutland Depot at 5:30 pm.

Admission to the Museum is free that day!


Upcoming Vermont Marble Museum Events

Repeating the popular Antique Train Rides, we will have another train ride from Rutland to Proctor in the fall. More details will be available late summer.

The Museum will be available as a venue for special events such as wedding receptions, fundraisers, cocktails parties, company events and more.

Come and view the second annual Pumpkin Carving Contest with over 150 carved pumpkins displayed at the Museum from late September to early October.
